The conference will take place in the renovated historical building of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague (address: Malostranské náměstí 25, Praha 1), situated at the main square of the Lesser Town of Prague, a splendid place close to Charles Bridge and St. Nicolas Church - see the map.

Lower part of the Lesser Town Square (Malostranské náměstí). The conference venue is the white building in the middle. Building restoration in summer 2012.

Travel information

There is a tram stop Malostranské náměstí very close to the conference site. Tram lines no. 12, 20 and 22 can be used. The connections from the closest metro stations are the following:

  • Malostranská (line A): tram 12, 20 or 22 (1 stop, 3 min) or walk (10 min),
  • Hradčanská (line A): tram 20 (3 stops, 8 min),
  • Národní třída (line B): tram 22 (4 stops, 8 min),
